    Personal Trainer Bret Blackman will be on the fitness floor to oversee youth strength training. This program is designed for youth ages 14 – 18 and those 12 – 13 years old who have completed the Junior Fitness Program. Bret will provide assistance with form and programming to those using the fitness floor strength equipment. Sample workouts will be provided. This is a great opportunity for teens to work out under the supervision of a certified personal trainer. Come any time during the time frame to complete your workout.

      I started out with Shaolin martial arts and went from there!
      5 years fitness class instruction, organization, and management.

      Martial arts are the reason I chose to become a trainer, plain and simple.  I wanted to be the best warrior I could be, mind, body, and soul.  What started out as a means to defend myself transformed into something far greater, becoming an exploration of what it was to seek a balance and perfection of all aspects of my being.  I’ve been training ever since, pushing myself to be stronger, faster, wiser, and kinder on this journey of fitness in all its forms.  It only seemed natural to bring others with me and help them in their journey as well.

      My training philosophy is simple: maximum effort doing what you love.  The only way you’ll see the results you want is if you give it everything you have, and the only way you’ll do that is if you’re truly passionate about what you pursue.  Through many different methods of training such as resistance, aerobic, martial, isometric, and more, I can help you find that passion and unlock its full potential the way I found mine.
