I’ve been teaching aerobics and step since 1981. I teach step on Saturdays(every other), but you’ll occasionally see me subbing the 8am Sunday or 5:30 PM Mondays. I also have subbed for the Butts and Guts class. I did take some time off while my kids were in sports and I played chauffeur, but they’ve since graduated, I’m free evenings and weekends.
We welcome all new steppers, and ask they give it a few times to learn the moves. Once you get them, it’s really fun! And the bonus is, we have a great group of members in the class!
I’m married, live in Stillwater, have 2 adult children, and 2 dogs. Love to meet new people!

Margaret has been a member of RVAC since 1988 and began leading Spin classes a few years ago focusing on those members that have a desire to walk through those Spin room doors but are intimidated. She teaches Intro and subs for other instructors. Margaret lives in Stillwater with her husband. Her two grown sons and daughter in law live in Montana and Oregon.
Staying physically and mentally fit is empowering… helping others do the same is exceptionally rewarding. Feeding off one another’s energy to become stronger inside and out keeps the party hopping! The party is in knowing that you are doing great things for your body and that your energy helps fuel others to do the same. I try to bring the “party” every time I train or teach a class. Keeping it fun and intense.
Amber has taught group fitness for almost 20 years in Texas, New York, Kansas, and Minnesota and truly enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals. She has worked as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, in addition to her full-time job as a Professor of Adult Education. She’s also involved in consulting on educational development projects in Europe and Africa and has two daughters with her husband Keith.

Kris has been teaching group exercise classes since 1992, teaching a wide variety of formats including cardio circuit, boot camp, group cycle and more. Her trainings and certifications have included: Aerobic and Fitness Association of America Group Exercise Instructor, Spinning® Instructor, BODYPUMP™ instructor and BODYFLOW™ instructor.
Kris is CEO and Co-Founder of AdvantageHealth Corporation, a corporate fitness/wellness company, in 2001 as a means to assist employers with maintaining a healthy and more productive workforce. As a result of her consulting and customized programs, her clients have experienced healthcare cost savings, reduced absenteeism, improved health, increased productivity and enhanced morale.
Brenda is a married with 4 kids. Exercising become very important to her to continue to stay healthy and fit through the stress of raising 4 kids. She has a Business and Economics degree form UW-River Falls and worked as a New Product Buyer before she quit her job to raise her children. She started teaching Spin class 6 years ago and has now added Water Aerobics and Sculpt & Strength.

Cherlyn has expanded her training by receiving specialized certifications in Pilates for golf, qi gong and is a certified breast cancer exercise specialist. Cherlyn’s passion for Pilates is unequivocal as is her desire to share it with others. Cherlyn’s expertise will assist clients who are looking to improve performance in sports/activities, people that have incurred injuries or are experiencing over use issues and are looking for a different way t use their bodies and people who are interested in improving strength, flexibility, mindful movement and over all wellness. Cherlyn’s training style is nurturing and demanding, compassionate and driven. Pilates can be modified to meet any fitness ability, age group or activity level. Experience Pilates on the mat in group classes or in personal training sessions in our private Pilates studio using the reformer, cadillac, Pilates chair and many other specialized Pilates apparatus.
Robert Korluka is a graduate of Winona State University with a degree in Exercise Science. As an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist,
Robert also works at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute rehabbing individuals with spinal cord injuries and other various neurological conditions.
