Preschool Swim Lessons
For swimmers 1 year to 5 years old. Swimmers under 3 years of age require a parent/caregiver in the water during class.
Preschool aquatics teach basic aquatics skills, which children continue to build upon into the school-age swim levels. We are pleased that you have chosen RVAC for swim lessons and we hope you and your children enjoy your time with us.
Swimming is a lifelong activity, and RVAC strives to teach children to be safe and have fun in and around the water.
By registering for RVAC swim lessons, participants, or their parents/guardians agree to RVAC Swim Lesson Policies.
Spring Swim Session Update
We’re excited to share that our Spring Swim Session will run April 12 through May 19.
As we prepare to open registration, we’ve run into an unexpected issue with our payment processor. Because of this, we’re not yet able to confirm when registration will open, and the sign-up process may look a little different than it has in the past.
We’ll share registration details as soon as the issue is resolved on our website and by email to those who have subscribed to our email list. Thank you for your patience while we work through this — we appreciate your continued support of our swim program and can’t wait to see everyone back in the water this spring.

Preschool Level 1: Parent/Child - Each swimmer requires a caregiver in the water for this class.
$100 RVAC Members | $125 RVAC Guests
For swimmers aged 1 to 4 years old. This program builds swimmer readiness by emphasizing having fun in the water with a parent.
Swimmers age 3 and older who will participate in class without a parent/caregiver in the water may enroll in Preschool 2.

Tuesday Evenings
5:15 - 5:45 p.m., April 14 - May 19
Preschool Level 2
$100 RVAC Members | $125 RVAC Guests
For swimmers aged 3 to 5 years old. (Swimmers must be at least 3 years old on the first day of class)
Swimmers must be able to participate in class with a parent/caregiver watching from the pool deck. Swimmers who require a parent/caregiver in the pool during class should enroll in Preschool 1.
Swimmers will learn kicking, front & back floating, beginning swimming skills, water safety, and water fun.
Please note: Registration will close one week before the first class.

Preschool 3 and School-age Level 1
$100 RVAC Members | $125 RVAC Guests
For beginner swimmers ages 4 - 7 years old. (Swimmers must be at least 4 years old on the first day of class)
Swimmers will learn to enter the water by stepping or jumping from the side, treading water, submerging head, performing front and back glide, and begin working on front and back strokes.
